I had no idea this was a homemade item that was not factory tested to specification. This filter caused my dryer to overheat and blew the thermal fuse on first use. I can no longer repair my dryer as they no longer make replacement parts or fuses for the dryer. In my opinion, this article is dangerous. The filters are too thick and block the flow of air that needs to go through the dryer to keep it from overheating. My dryer was working fine until I put one of these filters in it, after which it overheated. A new dryer costs me $309 to $400. Please remove this dangerous item from your inventory.
