My 25 year old puffer was a 9 inch round machine that required me to keep my thumb on the switch or it would shut down. Not optimal at all and time for a new one. What I like most about this car is the latch release. This, combined with the large "D" shaped front handle, makes it a breeze to use for extended periods. A wide range of speeds is available for increased versatility. Various pads were included in the kit, which I used to polish the entire experimental aircraft. I had to stay on my back for a long time to get to the underside of the wings and fuselage. To say I was impressed with the ease of use and the results is an understatement. This is way better than any other machine I've ever used and I'm sure I'll get my money's worth with this machine. You can't beat the price for the quality and ease of use that comes with it. I can only recommend this buffer. Attached is a photo of the blue metallic parts that really shine after polishing. The difference can be clearly seen in the two images: in one, the vortex traces and spots, in the other they have all disappeared.
