Review on HB-UMLS Sabrent USB 2.0 Hub with 4 Ports and LED Power Switches for Each Port by Hikeboy Ramey

Great little USB hub. I like the fact that it has blue LED buttons to toggle individual ports on and off. I was hoping to get a model with a power supply hole and I actually got this model! (Model HB-UMLS) NO. Nothing was specified on the packaging and the instructions included as to what type of power supply I need. The hole for this is 5mm but I need to see what exact voltage and current I need. a scanner and a second laser mouse, which don't use that much power anyway, mostly data). I connected my phone to both and it didn't even register as a data device. I disabled the other two ports with these devices and turned on my phone as a data transfer device and started charging. I'm assuming it can only power a device that needs that much power. It can work more if I buy the right adapter.
