At first I wasn't sure how well this cable would work because the picture made it seem like the connectors were too long and chunky. What I needed to do was connect two discs that were stacked on top of each other and I didn't want a three foot cable dangling from the back. I bought the cable anyway to try it out. Well I was pleasantly surprised. The connectors are slightly smaller, which allows the 800 hard drive ports to be bent easily without kinking the cable. That works great. So far no problems with it at all. I don't know why there are so few options for people who have multiple drives that they need to connect neatly without running cables everywhere. This was the only short Firewire 800 cable I could find at Revain.
