I've been using the API master test to test the water and because it takes too long (I have to do it almost every day) I'd like to switch to something simpler is, that's why I got this stamp. The basic API test kit shows nitrite as zero, but this stick shows pink (at least 1ppm). With a water test kit it reads every 0.25ppm and that jump goes from 0 to 1ppm. I assume the main test set will give more accurate results than the stick. Not sure if it is contaminated with nitrates as they are too close together and the same color (pink).
