People who complain about weight and thickness don't understand how critical a bike stem is and how critical it will fail if it breaks. The only issue I had with this product, and the reason I didn't give it five stars, was that I had to take a rat's tail file and file the burr on the inside of the mount. I carefully unscrewed the bolt but noticed that a red coating remained on the threads, leading me to wonder if some kind of Loctite was used on the nut prior to shipping. I don't know, it's very tight and difficult to untie. However, he easily went up a size on my bike stem once I figured out how to fit it. It's not a bad product, if it's dense, just put three drops on an oil and rub in a little, it's ok. Unfortunately, the material from China does not have the approvals that high-quality products have or that we are used to from the Japanese, for example.
