I wasn't expecting miracles, just wanted to see some improvements to the Inseego hotspot we have in our camper van. I installed the unit right out of the box INSIDE the RV, with the external antenna in the cabin window bunk and the internal antenna about 15 feet away. Turned on the power switch and after about 30 seconds all the lights turned green and the access point leaned against the internal antenna. BANG.4 band LTE 4g! The next day, out of curiosity, I had to test again, and the same thing happened again with another plus. 2bars 5G which I didn't have before. I didn't even think it was possible but the hotspot uses Sprint/TMobile service and now I get 5G service all the time. Needless to say we are very happy with this product. My next step is to install an external antenna on the stairs at the back of the RV. I'll edit this review if anything changes, but for now it's a 5 star device.
