Works exactly how I wanted it to. I don't think you'll want to stretch it to its full length for any length of time, but I've only had to stretch it 2ft max if that's the case and it works like a charm. I zipped it to a fixed mount on the front of the bike, the other end was threaded through my helmet on the right hand mirror and locked. They will break the helmet before they break the coil unless they have wire cutters in their pocket, which is extremely unlikely. This is just so passers-by don't grab them and run away. By the way, it is no longer an easy target for opportunities.
