I teach a two year old at church and needed a CD player to keep him in class. I spent a few minutes trying to find one at a reasonable price with decent reviews and was disappointed. Then I remembered the one in my playroom was from Amazon, so I looked through old orders to find it. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews for this product. I bought it in September 2015 and it worked great for us and moved around the house as my kids grew up. First it was in my son's room so the music would help him fall asleep. Then it stood in our living room and was often used by both children and adults. Now it's in the playroom and my 4 year old son uses it almost every day to listen to CD books while "reading" them. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sound quality is so-so, but for a kids CD player it was perfect. I plan to buy another one for my class.
