Review on AOC G2460PF 1920x1080 Adjustable DisplayPort 144Hz Monitor with Tilt Adjustment, Flicker-Free Technology, Wall Mountable, USB Hub, G Series LED by Andy Smith

Perfect for my gaming needs. Good colors and viewing angles. I switched to this bad boy from a 19 inch monitor with no free sync and it works great. The Freesync monitor was found to be compatible with the display cable (which was included) and had no issues powering it on or switching the monitor to 144Hz. You don't even need to install drivers. Windows updates did that for me and I was able to switch to 144Hz immediately. I only have two complaints about this monitor. First, it's crazy brightness! I had to lower it from 50 to 2. (Not a big deal though). My second complaint is the monitor and sleep modes and/or turning on and off. My computer is set to never go to sleep but turn off the monitors after 30 minutes. Monitors go offline but this one continues to look for DisplayPort connections even when Windows is off. Every time he starts looking for a live connection, the monitor screen goes from dark to gray and says he can't find a connection, then goes back to dreaming. This happens about every 5 minutes, which brings me to my other problem. Now I have to turn off both monitors while my computer is running so I can sleep at night or the screen will continue to work as above. However, when I turn on the monitors in the morning, it behaves like I've changed my default monitor to the monitor I turn on first, so all my windows and icons are changed to the specified screen. (Adjustment of the duel screen with browsers on one side and icons on the other). So I have to restart browser and icons every morning. It's pretty annoying. I'm sure I can handle it. I just feel like it's not something I need to "fix" and it should just work. However, that wouldn't stop me from buying this monitor again!
