Suitable for growing monarchs - great buy
I have bred and released over 40 monarch butterflies in this cage in the last month. It works very well and is large enough to hold a milkweed plant while the caterpillars are growing and a potted plant when the butterflies hatch, with enough room above the plant for the butterflies to flap around without injury. When they are strong enough to break free and the weather permits, I just take the plant out, take the cage outside and open it. My caterpillars climb up and the pupa hangs off the top with no problem.
