Good sound and easy setup but too much latency for me

Good news first. Ok, now the bad news and why I'm returning it. Got this to pair my LG TV with a bluetooth headset for watching movies and concerts but the latency was too much for me. I gave him 30 minutes for different types of programming and my brain started to twitch. Reading the details in the manual, I found that the low 40ms latency is only good on devices that support a specific codec, and my TV doesn't seem to do it. I've looked through the settings on the TV and can't find an option to enable additional codecs, and I can't find a manual. Without that elegant aptX LL codec, the manual states that latency can be as high as 130ms. This wouldn't be an issue if I just got it for listening to music or sports, but when the sounds follow the on-screen movement for 100ms, it just doesn't exist. Here's a quote from the description in case some of the readers might have missed it as well. : note. Low latency is only effective when paired with Bluetooth devices that support aptX LL. So my conclusion is that if you get this for listening to programs without video matching, it's a great little device. If you want to watch TV with it, you'd better make sure your TV supports aptX LL codec.
