Poor shipping/maintenance and cut end
One end appears to have been cut with a dull knife. Hardly a factory cut with a suitable clamping level. The hose was tied so tightly that it left a crease (where it will eventually tear!). To make matters worse, this drinking water hose arrived downright dirty.
