I didn't want to order this after all the bad reviews but I took a chance because I trusted the brand. We were very happy with everything. It came in a great, neat case that fits comfortably in the back of the car. I have a really big and heavy cargo bag like this one from Cabela and it's great and will stand up to anything so this one had a big shoe to fill it in when we needed a smaller version for my wife's car. We bought this for her. Take the 5,000-mile zigzag across the United States last summer in any weather, from scorching heat in Nevada and Arizona to snow in Wyoming and torrential rain on the plains. every day and the straps worked well the whole trip. I bought a thick liner between the trunk and the roof of the car as my wife's car didn't have a trunk. When she came back from the trip, there was no scratch on the car roof. Our only complaint was that it was a bit smaller than we expected, only fitting 2 large suitcases and a few bags of dirty clothes from the trip. We are glad we chose this one and it will be used for many years to come. Oh and my wife had no issues with the zipper as many people complain about this and several other brands of these.
