We used this roof rack over the Rhino Pioneer roof rack. All straps were buckled, zippers were positioned as instructed in the manual and the bag failed to prevent water ingress during the downpour. The zippers broke after the first day of use and we couldn't fix them, so the bag is now completely unusable. We've been using ours for 6 years probably once a year. We borrowed it a couple of times. It can take a lot. Traveled 1100 miles in summer 2010. This bag is definitely hard to work with in any weather, even when the temperature is above 30 degrees. This is because the material is so strong that the zippers have a hard time closing the bag. But during the heavy southern rains, this bag kept everything in "DRY BONE".
