Review on 🌧️ Enhance Travel and Protection with Rain-X Roof Top Cargo Carrier by Phillip Jaylon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect, much better than expected, did the job perfectly!

I doubted it based on some reviews and the fact that I had never used a roof rack or pannier before. Hills" from eastern Nebraska to So Cali, which is essentially all mountains outside of Nebraska. I tested the straps extensively for the first few days (more than 4 days total) because as it is a durable vinyl bag, it had to be tightened as it adjusted to the blowing wind. After getting pretty tight - haven't given it much thought for the last few days.I checked it every morning when I left the hotel and left it alone.Er has held up very well.I put a large box in,then soft items like sheets and towels, and packed it fairly well, although I could have stuffed more in it,but it wasn't too loose.I didn't want pops with loose corners or anything , as other reviewers warned on multiple sites, so I was sure I had stuffed it well enough that I could close it without making it too hard (that fight with the zipper is very thick s vinyl, like fabric) so it's not torn anywhere. This worked great for what I needed it for. It's probably not as aerodynamic as those hard cases, but it also costs hundreds of dollars. I am happy with my purchase, I would buy it again if I need it and would recommend it. My only advice is: * Fill it with soft objects around the hard one if it won't fill, or tie it as flat as possible and pull tight. * Check your seat belts - make sure they're tight, especially when you're just starting out - every time you fill up with gas, for example. I haven't had any issues with fraying or anything with loose ends.* Watch your size! Try using it to measure your ground clearance! I had to be very careful when I pulled into the garage under my new home - the manager came out and made sure I was clear - at one point I scratched the cement (the package was not damaged even though it had a scuff). ) and I actually had to take it off the roof rack and pull one end (fortunately it's all soft) to get to my parking spot. This can be useful when traveling with coffee and co as I expect this will mainly be the case for larger/taller vehicles/trucks/SUVs/vases. Great purchase / now all I have to do is fold it up. Keep it in the cute little storage/carrying case it came with. I honestly didn't think I'd keep it to myself or that after this ride it would be back in shape to use again, but it's still in perfect condition aside from a dirty scratch mark and inserts that do front end have hit movement.
