Not suitable for composite wood cabinets

Attention - these hinges are supplied with normal screws. They're great for hardwood cabinets, but if you have composite wood like me, it's best to look elsewhere. My old hinges have wooden dowels and couldn't find anything suitable at my local hardware store. These hinges have holes for 4mm diameter screws and most dowels are designed for 6mm or larger diameter screws. In addition, the quality of these loops is excellent.
