I measured my cans before I bought them but I was still worried If they were much bigger I would have to go for the 6 gallon size Anyway the 6 gallon size would fit with an extra bag but it really isn't necessarily that and the price goes up if you buy a larger size QUALITY They're not bad at all Not the best you can buy but I haven't had any problems with tears etc. The packets are see through - not clear but you can see what's in the packages (which I hate but oh well) I put the soap bottle in my bag and took a picture so you can see what I mean.
