I came across this tool while looking for a screwdriver that would actually 'hold' a Phillips head screw. This one does just that, it holds the screw to put it where you want it, you can even turn it a little just enough to hook the thread or start a handle. But that's about it, as soon as you apply torque to the screw, the holder disengages and you switch to a regular screwdriver. But that's what it's supposed to do, and it's very thin so it's easy to see where it's going. Anyone who has ever had to tighten a small Phillips screw in a tricky spot with thick fingers will appreciate this gem. There are no instructions, but it's pretty obvious what needs to happen: slide the knurled ring toward the tip to push the 4-finger insert into the Phillips screw and loosen the ring. My new tool!
