Tried to install a mirror faucet. This is for a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 with auto dimming and homelink. I had a Uniden R7 radar detector connector. First, it's too long. I mean how far away should the mirror be? It's good that it has two sets of connectors, but it would be better if you could just swap out different sizes with just one cable. The two remaining wires are now in the way and the cable is already too long. I was able to use the smaller connector as the larger one is too big. I read 12 volts on the connecting cable but when I connected it to my detector it read about 9 volts and the display became pixelated. It looks like the cable is too thin to deliver 12 volts. I unplugged the wires and just used the cigarette lighter and the detector worked fine. Cannot use this product.
