This is an incredibly simple item. Unfortunately the one I received doesn't have a butt joint. The shrink wrap seemed to be the only thing holding everything together under the nylon mesh tubing. Tried to install a mirror faucet. This is for a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 with auto dimming and homelink. I had a Uniden R7 radar detector connector. First, it's too long. I mean how far away should the mirror be? It's good that it has two sets of connectors, but it would be better if you could just swap out different sizes with just one cable. Used to install the Uniden R3 in a 2018 Buick Regal Sportback. Installation took literally 2 minutes after figuring out which pins are supplying 12v with my multimeter. Luckily I only had 3 pins to test, so that part was easy too. I simply attached some unrolled paperclips to the ends of my multimeter and stuck them into the female ends of the wire harness until it read 12v.
