Review on Metal Bike Motorcycle Mount Unbreakable by Tyler Cooley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tighten the nut on the hub and you're good.

I've been installing this product on my 2019 Harley Davidson Sport Glide for a few days now and have put over 3,200 miles on this product and I have to say this is the best phone mount you have in this one Price range you can buy. The pros and cons are listed below. Cons: 1. If you do not fully tighten the ball joint lock nut, the seat will loosen and easily disengage from the ball mount.2. Although I ordered a metal handlebar mount, the side of the socket that attaches your phone is entirely plastic.3. With thicker handlebars, the rubber pad must be removed, otherwise they will not fit on the handlebar4. I have an iPhone XS Max, but larger phones MAY NOT fit, but probably will. Advantages: 1. Adjustable. With the ball joint mount, you can find an ideal spot to reduce screen glare even in bright sunlight2. price3. Easy to install 4. The phone attaches and detaches quickly. If you're reading these reviews and are a little apprehensive about ordering a product because you've seen people saying their phone went haywire, you know this: when I first installed it. Yes, the ball and socket separated slightly and gave me a false sense of security, but you MUST tighten them for the socket to hold the ball mount properly. If you think it's tight, it might not be tight enough. You'll know it's tight enough when you can grab the phone mount and pull hard enough so it doesn't pop out. I "check" my phone every day before locking it and it's been fine ever since I backed it up. For this reason, I gave the mount 4 stars in the safety features rating. Someone who doesn't know might think it's tight enough, but it's not, and the next thing they know, their phone was lost and broken on the freeway somewhere. Be sure to order a metal bracket.
