VERY GOOD KETTLE suitable for kitchen and dining room

Bought this kettle as a component for draft coffee in the first full week of July. I like the design, the silicone sheet covering most of the case between the top and bottom. I like the detachable thermometer and the silicone coated handle. It's a really good kettle, with the following exceptions (already reported this to Coffee Gator on the phone): 1) no instructions on how to remove the thermometer - you might find this silly, I think it's important (nobody wants to damage or destroy new equipment unknowingly !) . 2) The instructions are pretty adamant about drying the kettle after use before storing it. Well, the top of the kettle, which the lid rests on when closed, is inverted and curved down to eliminate any possibility of - I think - sharp edges. However, this will result in water seeping into the rim when the pot is inverted for final air drying (stainless steel is rust resistant, not rust resistant). If only I could run a dry cloth over the reverse edge and solve this problem, but that's impossible - and that brings me to the third problem: 3) The bracket holding the thermometer protrudes so far into the kettle that that an adult cannot put your hand in the kettle to dry it out (I used 2 paper towels and a long fork to dry it out). I just asked Coffee Gator this morning if they were considering a revamped model to address the above issues. The bottom line is that I would buy this kettle again despite everything - maybe I'll rent one of my neighbors' children to dry it for me 🙃. HAVE FUN!
