I bought these for my siblings because I still use what I got 20 years ago and I love it, especially now that California is out of water. I have a new car/SUV that I didn't want to scratch so I was hesitant to use a rag except on my old cars. but. I took a chance and it works great on the new machine! Of course I wash my new car (with water) and wax it, but instead of washing it every weekend I clip it down. Instead, I've made it a habit to rip out the rag before leaving the garage for the day. Read the instructions. Shake off the duster, dust on a cool car, shake off the duster, put the duster back in your pocket. but I'm so used to seeing shiny car finishes because a rag does such a wonderful job, so I've made a habit of dusting every time I get out of the garage. it only takes a minute or so for my SUV. I do everything except the top grille and front grille because I can't easily access those spots in the garage. and I only use light touch. I don't press the rag on the car because I think there might be stains on the windows and mirrors. And as for the paint, I'm still a bit nervous about the scratches, but with light use it does its job perfectly! Looks like I wash my car every day. Saves water and looks great.
