Works well and lasts a long time. The "knife" guard where the keychain hole is located slips easily when used in this manner and it is not practical to attach the keychain in this location. So I drilled a small hole in the black part of the case under the red "knife" guard and this spot easily sticks to the keychain. The protector stays in place much better by design, and the blade/knife recessed in it cuts through seat belts quite deftly. To use a spring-loaded window regulator, it's best to press it against e.g. the side window of a car, just above and in front of the door lock (about 2 inches from the corner of the window), and this placement will break all the glass for an easy egress or easy access when trying to get in from the outside to get someone out of a car or house in a rescue. If you use the middle of the window, the glass will bend under pressure and the task will be more difficult. I've had it for about 3 years since I bought it and it still works like new. The razor/knife is made of stainless steel and will not rust. The plastic construction is lightweight yet durable in practice.
