I always had built-in Pcie PC sound cards like the Asus Soundblaster or Sonar card. as well as games. If you want to listen to loud music full of bass, you need to buy an external DAC or amplifier. Internal sound cards are not sufficient. You also need an excellent headset. V moda crossfading comes to mind. Recently my Soundblaster card made me sad. The audio cuts out in some video games and I can't find the reason. It can be the game itself (pubg and the like). It could also be related to the driver, who knows? I bought this external device and the sound is comparable to a Soundblaster sound card. Windows sees it as "speakers, USB audio device". It's plug and play. (Driver not required). The sockets and the connection for the headset are a bit confusing. The green 3.5mm audio jack on the headset should fit into the hole labeled "Front". The pink "microphone" should fit into the hole labeled "Stereo" on the short side of this box. Both audio and mic work, but it's a non-obvious layout.
