It doesn't wash well, leaves streaks and is expensive

With all the hype surrounding this material and its cost, I expected to be amazed, but instead I was seriously disappointed. I did a personal photo shoot. I compared this to Stoner Invisible Glass, Windex, Rain-X 2 in 1, and Simple Green Spray mixed 30:1 with tap water. and how easy it is to get rid of the streaks afterwards (note this is based on my car windshield, I ran an LED light through it in a dark garage to find those streaks you only pick up in the evening sunlight). Here are my results: Cleaning: 1. Windex (cut everything well) 2. Plain Green (closed 2nd)3. Stoner (a bit behind but not bad)4. Hope (similar to Stoner)5. Rain-X (really pathetic) The results here were interesting, the ammonia in Windex does its job on soap, water stains and bugs. Simple Green 30:1 is our standard household cleaner that we use on countertops and bathrooms and has always done well so I wasn't surprised, but Windex is almost degreasable thanks to its strength. The Stoner aerosol is very good at picking up insect gut, the Hope aerosol was right behind and was ok, Rain-X. There's a reason I gave it away after these tests. Streaks: 1. Stoner (Clear Winner)2. Windex (definitely 2nd)3. Rain-X (near)4. Hope (way back) 5. Plain green (not even a prayer). To reiterate the above, this is based on looking through LED-lit glass, a mirror, or appliance glass, all of which, except for the plain green, appeared "streak-free." Only very light streaks remained on the stoner, which only had to be lightly polished with a paper towel or a microfiber cleaning cloth to correct them. I've found wiping with a slightly damp towel versus a dry one with stoner works well, while others MUST have a completely dry towel for the final wipe. Windex was far behind, it took serious effort to get rid of the streaks, but it was doable. Rain-X mostly helps on its own if you buff it since it has some sealer applied to it, but it needs a pretty good buff. Hope wow we're talking about a mess, I just kept wiping and buffing and it seemed to keep streaking like it was leaving oil, but it eventually came clean. The same can't be said for the simple green city I ended up having to use to clean up the stoner. It might have been the tap water (it's pretty hard here) but I haven't distilled it to try. So overall Hope was a mess and I couldn't find a reason to keep using it in my car. Due to the high price for a bottle of this stuff, I use it on bathroom mirrors and such, but I REALLY don't get high praise for this stuff. throughout the house, but for my car's windshield I switched to Stoner as a finishing touch after otherwise cleaning the outside glass (like car shampoo, degreaser, or a clay bar, depending on how bad it is). On the inside of the glass, it does more than enough for fingerprints and chemical films alone.
