You need a steady hand

Watching the video, I saw that this is a different type of wood carving tool. On the video, of course, everything looked easy. I started making a decorative spoon but put it aside. It had many curves, shapes and details. I pulled it out as an experiment. Lime was used first. Light, soft and not very grainy. Wood raises the fibers when carving. Especially when I used a racquet. To get good results, you need a firm and steady hand. I like how fast you can cut, but I need a bit of practice on scrap wood.
