Like some others, I was missing the hardware. In my case only one nylon and one split washer. Why also include a split washer when you can include Nylox? This is a complete belt and braces situation. Instead of a slotted washer it is better to use a regular flat washer as the mounting holes are quite wide. The bolts are 1/4-28 threads, making it a bit harder to source the missing nylock as 1/4-20 threads are much more common (although technically 1/4-28 produces a stronger bolt). nor deep enough to fully countersink the screw heads. They are very proud of the surface. Hardware aside, the metal feels nice and the hinges move well. I had feathers to keep them folded, which doesn't seem really necessary.
