After swapping out shock absorbers a few years ago I vowed never to work under a machine without an impact wrench again. A trip to Moab motivated me to enter the world of impact wrenches in the form of a broken leaf spring, so I bought a 3/8" and ½" impact gun from a local dealer. Unfortunately, I'm struggling to find anything like a full set of sockets; I hate working in the middle of a project without the right tools so I needed a complete set. I may never need two-thirds of the sockets in this box, but I can avoid the hassle of a deep repair without a working machine when I find that the kit I bought doesn't suit me. The boxes arrived intact after FedEx allegedly played rugby with them. Some of the sockets were relocated after delivery, but could easily be repositioned due to the surprisingly well-designed casing. After my limited suspension work, the rosettes have worked well. They took all the torque my guns could apply to a pair of unruly bolts and are superbly marked. Get good Percussion Guns and both attachments if you want to make sure you never run out of that important attachment at the right time.
