This entire unit is plastic including the adapters which failed in less than 4 months. Then the device kept falling and after doing my best to fix it, I decided to contact the online support team for assistance. Their online support insisted on a picture showing the problem and was generally useless. What did you want to see? The moment the device fell down? I then contacted them over the phone and was assisted by a very helpful customer service representative who sent me a new set of adapters. Unfortunately, these new adapters didn't help either, as they also expired in a few months. All in all not a good product, avoid it and buy an all metal case.
