Every once in a while you get a product that actually works and solves an annoying problem. I've used them with Weathertech rear mats that kept slipping. The key to a good fit is placement and use of a small hammer, rather than simply pushing with your foot to engage the plastic spikes. You also need to make sure you're installing on a flat piece of carpet that has some padding on it (and not too close to a corner). You may also need to cut off some of the rubber tips at the bottom of the mat. The placement of the top screw can also be between the two ribs of the mat, which may require the rubber ribs to shift when you screw in the top. Once the carving has set they will be golden. I've found that it's best to insert as many spikes as possible by hand groping the anchor pins through the mat, then removing the top screw and mat and ensuring the spikes engage with a small mallet or mallet . You can then attach the mat again with the screws. I'm sure some people go crazy and break spikes. You will hear or feel a slight click as each tab engages. If your ground is uneven a peg may not fully engage, but the bottom anchor is still very secure. I will update this review when I use them to indicate if they hold up. Even if it's only for a year and then I buy new ones, I'm satisfied. Anything but travel mats!
