I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT, black body. My previous passenger side mirror died prematurely while driving on a snowy road and slid close enough to the van to shatter the glass and part of the plastic backing behind it, even though the mirror had collapsed. Since this car doesn't have power windows, the whole unit was well priced. It's perfect for a truck with minimal effort to take the door apart. There are a few screws to remove the door handle and inner door panel, then three screws hold the mirror in place. So easy even my grandma could do it. The only thing that worries me is the difficulty in locking the door, but that's Ford's fault. Luckily this block has its own bolts as one now rotates permanently in the door below. It wasn't very difficult, just a little tricky holding a bolt shorter than the width of the door in place while wrapping it with a decent sized socket wrench to keep it from falling off. Install the top mirror first, having a helper hold the mirror against the door. I tried the first one with no help, hence the lost bolt. In any case a top product, solidly processed.
