Review on Philips AX7201 Personal Portable Magnesium by Chris Peck

Slim looks are great, people comment on how good it looks. But I got mine through The Good Guys and thought I had a problem with it. Sounds great too, good balance of treble and lots of bass. It occasionally jumped when I held it on the ground or in the car seat as we drove down a moderately bumpy road. I took it back for a replacement (which they happily did) and found the second one was the same. For the price I paid I shouldn't have this problem. The other (cheaper) CD players in the car had no problem (first anti-skip CD player I had I think). Even after carrying the remote in my pocket, the headphone hole in the remote came off and the music cut out. L and R. I took it to a repair shop and soldered it for $5.
