If you're wondering if this product will work with Cooler Master Master+ software, you don't have to pay $60 for a more expensive one: it works indeed. However, you need a USB 2.0 cable (motherboard pinout) to a micro USB cable. This product has a micro USB connector but does not come with a cable. Luckily I had a spare and was able to update the firmware and after that it was recognized so I could use the software on my Cooler Master Halos. I ended up returning it for another brand where I can connect all my RGB stuff to it and control it that way. But be aware, if you want to use this CM controller to control your RGB in CM software, you need a USB mic for your motherboard to connect it to this controller, so make sure that you have one on hand or buy one. with this purchase.
