I bought this simple splitter so I could connect two computers in my home office with a network cable instead of intermittent Wi-Fi. It was easy to set up, but it just didn't work. Sometimes only one computer was connected or no computers were connected. I've tried several computers, checked and rechecked the cables. The problem was the splitter as when I removed the splitter the computers immediately connected via ethernet. I sent one back as defective and got a replacement. However, the replacement worked (or didn't work) like the first one. I know you get what you pay for but it wasn't even worth what I paid for it. Avoid the product.
