A good generator for the price is even better than local stores.
I needed a replacement generator at a good price as my stock deals with Firebird and Amazon were running out again. It looked, felt and weighed the same as the previous alternator that was bought at the local auto parts store for a fraction of the price. Climbed under the car, got dirty and replaced the defective device. It's been working great for a few months now and I'm very happy with it.
