Review on 🚰 Enhanced Visibility Spigot for Royal Berkey System & Imperial Berkey System by Drew Beckett

The Berkey Glass Level Fitting is very easy to install. I left a glass under the faucet on my bin (Burkey's on the edge of the counter) when I first filled it up and it was completely dry the next morning. The installation instructions were easy to follow and I took the time to clean my Royal Berkey while opening it. There are two changes I noticed most about this spigot, #1 is slightly wider. than the standard bottle and doesn't fit as well in the Ikea liter glass bottles I fill to keep cold water in the fridge (the ones with the rubber stopper, like the Grolsch bottle). #2 Maybe that's why it pours a lot faster and I've found you get a higher flow that's a lot lower to empty than the previous faucet. This is a big bonus, filling kettles, pots, coffee pots and drinking water bottles is now much faster. The water level varies in accuracy, but it's actually supposed to tell you when it's low, not 3/4 full or 7/8 full, so it's great for that purpose. I am very happy with the glass faucet, mainly because of the increased water flow. The spigot makes a well-made and robust impression. To be honest, I usually fill up my Berkey when the flow is significantly reduced, i.e. almost empty. I sometimes check the level so I know when to top it up, but that's the main reason I bought it and I can't say I use this feature very often. However, the increased consumption and to a much lesser extent the more aesthetic appearance makes this a 5 star purchase, easily recommended.
