After replacing a good headgear this hood worked fantastic. for a few years. But the last time the battery died, the screen went with it. I don't understand how as the battery wasn't completely dead when I replaced it, but it hasn't worked since I took that almost dead battery out. I'll do an autopsy and see if I can determine the cause of death, but I'll get 2 years of service for it. It just suits me. So much so that I will most likely replace it with an EH-302C with a 180* field of view from 3 auto-dimming screens and 1/1/1/1 clarity. I just put my good hat on him. And if I can benefit from it for 2 years, I think the $140 is a good investment.
