The helmet looks very stylish and the headband makes it very comfortable. Sensitivity and delay work well. However, if you use this helmet to weld 1/4" steel, it will not darken enough. Even set to 9-13 tint, the lens only produces 9-10 tints when darkened! All you see is a bright arc, not what you are welding. This will burn your retina if you weld at a higher amperage. It does not meet ANSI Z87, EN379, or COLTS LABS CSA0530 standards that require a helmet to produce lenses with a #13 tint.

This is a really cool and beautiful helmet. It is very good value for money with four sensors, I can clearly see the welding arc when welding. Right out of the box, the thing didn't work properly. There was a short or cold solder somewhere in the electronics. The device flashes when it is put into grinding mode (grinding mode should correspond to turning off the device). When switching to weld mode, I couldn't get it to dim, regardless of the sensitivity settings. Changed battery, problem remained. After replacing a good headgear this hood worked fantastic. for a few years. But the last time the battery died, the screen went with it. I don't understand how as the battery wasn't completely dead when I replaced it, but it hasn't worked since I took that almost dead battery out. Overall I give 5 stars. The color is amazing, there is a grinding and cutting mode. Shades from 3 to 13 are mostly available.
