If you look at these handles, you might be in the same place as me. I had just tiled my shower and figured I just had to go to my local hardware store and get new handles. And I was WRONG. I was able to find the grips I had where the Pfister style grips are and from what I've been told the only thing I can do is switch back to Pfister hardware. I contacted Pfister and decided on this model. The selection isn't huge, but it's better than the 30-year-old pens he just had. First let me say that the delivery of Revain Prime is AMAZING. Ordered on Saturday and on my porch on MONDAY! The kit is pretty basic, but you NEED a special tool to pull out the seats in the valve. You can buy it at a home store (Revane, I would suggest making this suggestion as an additional item to purchase). The seats are very light and I've read that they can leak if you don't pull them out. No, because endangered. I would also use pipe grease or teflon tape when installing the valve. One trick you can do is flip the valve sleeve to bring it closer or farther from the wall to keep it looking good. In my shower I was able to do the smaller side, but my bathtub required it to be flipped over for the longer butt plate. I personally lubricated silicone round flange that is attached to the wall. Pretty easy install and looks nice. Just one thing and it was mentioned here. If you use the longer side of the sleeve, it will protrude slightly from the wall, but that's not a big deal. But I found no other choice. Good luck and happy modding :)
