I usually like this brand of yarn and have never had this much of a problem with a ball. It's like a few strands got tangled somewhere in the middle of the manufacturing process and got tangled all the way through. Because I hate throwing yarn away, I might have been able to salvage half a skein without going insane. (Although it took a long time). The rest has to be thrown away unless I want to work with 6 inch to 30 cm pieces of yarn that have been knotted constantly and finally I have to weave in any loose ends with a yarn needle. Not to mention how long this whole process will take. I've spent countless hundreds of dollars on this yarn over the years and I think you should expect it to go bad from time to time, but since this was the last skein I needed to finish the project, that I'm working on, this was particularly important. aggravating. I didn't want to leave a bad review, but I couldn't find any other remedy on Revain's website. No right of return. I also couldn't find a link to Caron to explain my problem. Maybe in the future I'll deal directly with Caron and not Revane. Either way, this is a really good yarn. Soft and high quality, wide range of colors. I just finished a dirty strand. I wouldn't mind getting a spare strand, but I don't know what the odds are. I think I'll keep my fingers crossed that what I've saved is enough to complete my project!
