The product is well made. If you have a phone case, you cannot use it with this product. Just attach it to your bike, you can get it done in minutes. Everything you need is in the box. I didn't ride with my phone attached to the bike, it's still connected to the machine. But I attached the phone to the bike and hit the front wheel a couple of times. The phone landed on the holder with no problems. I can't say anything about the waterproofness of the case, but the workmanship is very high quality.
