My biggest concern was that they wouldn't feel traditional like the sets I grew up with. I'm happy to report that my fears were unfounded. The tile was hard, felty, and felt good. I had to get a kit at the last minute when I was visiting my Taiwanese father in Florida and found his kit was locked in his brother's house and he had gone to Taiwan. Big disappointment as my kids were learning mahjong and wanted to play with their grandpa during Covid-19. The set arrived a day later with standard prime shipping. Ideal.
