I've wanted to buy a mahjong set for a long time because my grandma likes to play. I'm by no means a mahjong expert, but I'm already loving this set! The tiles are stable and very well made. I bought this set to replace the travel mahjong set we have at work. The tile is heavy, thick, easy to work with and very beautiful. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the number tiles only have Chinese number symbols and don't have the Arabic numerals that some sets have. The goods were very well packed (see photos). Each layer of tiles was wrapped in plastic, the dice were in a plastic bag, and the entire body was tightly encased in foam. If you look at the tiles, they are medium sized and relatively light. The characters are engraved, the paintwork is nice and light. This mahjong set is very good, it's my first set that I bought and I'm very happy with it. The tiles have been wrapped in 4 "blocks" to prevent them from being mixed up during shipping. Delivery was good too. The seller shipped the box in a box, and the inner box containing the mahjong set was "covered" with cardboard-like foam, so it didn't move at all during shipping. We bought this set for our son and daughter in law so we don't have to carry our set around every time we visit and feel like playing the game.
