Okay, let me be the first (not really) to say that I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this axe. The price tag was a bit of a warning sign, but I proceeded with the purchase anyway. I'll skip the small talk and get to the point, this ax didn't arrive very sharp, the paint and lawyer on the handle sucked. BUT with a little time and effort, this piece truly becomes a diamond just waiting to shine. Advantages: 1st price2. The ax head is heavy but well balanced overall.3. The handle is the perfect length and very ergonomic.4. Steel accepts very well and holds the edge fairly well.5. The head is very secure and I can't see how it comes off without abusing a damn axe. 6. The ax bites powerfully and swings great.6. After a little sanding, paint stripping, sharpening, boiled linseed oil and petina vinegar, the thing shines like a jewel. Cons: 1. The packaging wasn't the best.2. The ax comes without a sheath, but you have to keep in mind that it only costs $30,003. it doesn't come very abruptly ALL IN ALL: Can't be beat for the price. I will say for the third time that with a little work and respect for the subject, you got an excellent tool that will last a long time.
