Logitech isn't good for electronics anymore

When Logitech announced the end of the Harmony series, I decided to work on figuring out what's next for me. Much has changed in more than 10 years of using the Harmony ecosystem. Household assistants and a rich ecosystem of phone apps are now ubiquitous in my pocket/on my hands/in my living room. But this is a review of a Broadlink device, not a complaint for Logitech. And for that matter, I was really happy to come across something that works for me too. Okay, I didn't stumble upon this because I read a lot beforehand, but no one knows until all the dust settles. After training my devices sometimes by brand and sometimes by IR training (both ways), I was able to design scenes for my entertainment center that matched all of my old Logitech "Actions". With my Android phone (Google Assistant) in hand or the Revain Echo Dot in the same room, I can activate any scene I want with one procedure. I *really* set up the volume up and volume down commands in Assistant, but for now I'm basically just using my old Logitech, which isn't quite dead yet, to get the job done. If I ran out of working Logitech devices, I could just as easily take a cheap universal remote instead and set it up for a few commands that I wish were easier to press a button. Damn Logitech for ending Harmony. But thank you too, as it was the push I needed to transition my workflow to modern technology.
