Tape it to the wall to keep it from falling

It seemed like a brilliant idea. We used to have fabric that took up the whole door and you had to unzip it to get outside. You couldn't see through either, which was very annoying. I bought them in April when I saw them for the first time. I swear there weren't two sizes on the list or I would have measured our tailpipe. I chose a small one, and we have a large pipe. As we were about to install it, we passed the return window. I communicated with the seller through the Revain messenger. I asked if there is an adapter. He asked if a larger product number would work and I said yes. heard nothing Finally asked him if he would offer to replace it or not and he said they were from China and there were no adapters. Why did he keep emailing me when there was nothing he could do? Finally it got hot and we started the installation. This is a complete joke and not funny. The plastic is thin, and the thinner "inner" panels that fit inside the wider "outer" panels have an extra quarter or half inch of free space after the sliding door is closed. We couldn't get him to get up on his own. So we finally glued it to the plastic frame around the sliding glass door. Our tube turned out to be very difficult as our main tube was larger but had a smaller joint. It just doesn't connect to the included part of the vent that snaps into the hole in this product. So we glued them together too. We used her tape to try to seal the gaps. It fell off so I ordered a better product from Revain. The gaps between the smaller and larger plastic panels sometimes required two coats so we could close the sliding glass door and get the minimal gaps. It turns out that this material also does not like to be glued in two layers, so some of them will not be preserved. There will likely be more tape in the future. I really want this to work and I love it. I'm surprised there are so many positive reviews. I'm usually pretty good at something like this (even if it needs some tweaking) which really frustrated me. So thanks to lots of scotch it's doing the job and next summer I'll be looking at another brand. Maybe someone makes it out of aluminum or something other than flexible plastic that has more "constant" performance.
