I bought it for a completely different application - starting a gas engine with a drill
I use it in conjunction with a drill to start a gas engine on various power tools. This tool allows you to start the engine with a ratchet without injuring the operator or the drill. I had several small gas powered tools that hadn't been used in a while. This allowed me to start the engines without exhausting myself. I was able to cut out the carbs, but it was easy and quick. Also, I always feel like I'm messing something up when I remove carbs and clean up. I'm not a great mechanic.
