Review on 🌊 Wurkkos DL30 Rechargeable Diving Flashlight - Ultra Bright 3600lm LED Dive Light with Samsung 90CRI LEDs, IPX-8 Waterproof and Submersible for Underwater Scuba Exploration by Jon Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ring driven 300-3600 lumens from 3 x 5000,000 LEDs powered by a great 21700 battery

With backlight, 21700 battery, 18650 battery compartment - 18650 21700, USB charging cable Dive strap, spare O-rings and instructions. Summary: The DL30 produces a long lasting and beautifully colored jet. The easy-to-use adjustment ring offers quick access to three light levels, even when wearing gloves. The highest level is 3600 lumens, the middle is 1800 lumens and the lowest is 350 lumens. While most other dive lights are still 6500K/70 CRI, the 3 LH351D LEDs in the DL30 put out a beautiful warm 5000K 90 CRI light with no green or yellow casts in my light which is great for photographers and reef watchers. The charger included with the DL30 will charge the included battery to 4.18V and the DL30 itself will discharge the battery to 2.92V before the low voltage protection kicks in. This means it is safe for both protected and unprotected 21700 batteries. The included adapter allows the DL30 to run on 18650, although the run time will be shorter. The case back has been protected by a double O-ring and the included strap is scuba style and waterproof. When the DL30 arrived I started testing the battery, light beam and flashlight UI. The battery was delivered charged to 3.63V. I measured the low voltage discharge cut-off at 2.92V and connected the included 4800mah Weurkkos battery to my Opus BT-C3100 analyzer. It showed a real capacity of 5004 mAh. The user interface (UI) of the DL30 is simple. It has a ring that can be adjusted to Off / L / M / H. It was so easy to do it underwater!

Pros
  • 3600 lumens maximum dive light output
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
